Sorry for the late update! The Irish have started their season back up, and have their hands full
trying to get everything in order. A certain question writer welcomed a puppy into his house as well. There will be insomnia
I will forego a lengthy write up, but we are ON for this Wednesday (tomorrow, oops!). But briefly perennial
powerhouses, The Erotic Photo Hunters narrowly won the first game. Perhaps mercifully they dispersed their team the second game and we had a new winner! Hmmm... maybe a limit on team number... Idle threats most likely!
As for prizes we gave away 2-$20 bar tabs.
Prizes for next game will be gift cards to James Hoban's, a new fine dining Irish restaurant on Dupont Circle.
We had several themed rounds last time... Pop music, movie quotes and as always there will be some random, maybe obscure 'calendar' type questions... Or a whole round.
Again, thanks to all who participated in January and we will see you Feb 20th at 8PM. Study up!!!
Thoughts
The tournament format is still being discussed. We have been busy!
There would be larger prizes at the end in addition to the nightly prizes. Is there any interest in this?
What about an email list? It would only be trivia related emails and no more than a few per month... any interest in that? Let us know in the form below!
