***Annual General Meeting Results***

For those not in attendance, below is a re-cap of last nights events.

First and foremost awards were given out as follows:

Best New-comer - James McIntyre (congratulations and well deserved, Mac!)
Captain's Award - Cameron Scott (Good Work!)
Most Valuable Player - Luke Piepkorn (Try to cut out the half-time Cigarette and we'll go to Nationals - Congratulations!)

Congratulations to the new EC on your election.

I would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Eric "Big E" Feuerstein for his 7 plus years of service as Treasurer. Big E gave his time and efforts tirelessly to a job that does not have much reward. Everyone on the Irish owes Big E something and you should take the opportunity to say "thanks" or buy him a round.

Thank you also to the other members of last season's EC that are not returning. We had a good 06-07 season and you were all a big part of making that happen.

Moving forward, our key goal for the Fall is to return to the MARFU DII playoffs, making our key goal for the Spring winning MARFU championship and going to Nationals. That means we need to get dedicated to fitness now and there is no better way than to come out to Sevens (details are on the website)

A: It is very affordable
A: It is a decent, full sized field (come on, you've played on a lot worse)
A: It is secluded
A: PG County graciously lines the fields for us
A: It is that hard to find alternatives
